What is Fortune
Project SuPoshan
Started in 2016, Project SuPoshan is an initiative by Adani Wilmar implemented by the Adani Foundation. The objective of this project is to curb malnutrition & anaemia in selected locations across the country. We have created our own community-based model which also supports the Ministry of Women and Child Development’s Poshan Abhiyaan.
Fortune SuPoshan tirelessly engages in a multitude of daily nutritious initiatives aimed at enlightening families nationwide. At the core of Fortune SuPoshan’s endeavors lie our dedicated volunteers, renowned as SuPoshan Sanginis. These exceptional individuals are the driving force behind the implementation of these wholesome activities, serving as vital conduits for the dissemination of nutrition throughout the nation.
Who are
SuPoshan Sanginis?
SuPoshan Sanginis, the embodiment of a noble mission, shoulder the weight of eradicating malnutrition from India with unwavering dedication. These remarkable women undergo comprehensive training by Fortune SuPoshan, immersing themselves in every facet of health and nutrition. Empowered by the knowledge gleaned from these transformative sessions, Sanginis lead the charge by translating theory into impactful on-the-ground actions. They extend their expertise to counsel families, present nutritious recipes through inspiring demonstrations, and offer guidance to households with members identified as malnourished.
With a fervent commitment and unyielding dedication, SuPoshan Sanginis carry the torch of nutrition, catalysing change on a grand scale. Their resolute spirit drives them to remain steadfast on the path of nutrition, in harmony with the aspirations and goals of Udbhav and Dhyey.
Udbhav – The Drive
In the heart of our beloved India, a poignant truth shadows us—a significant segment of our population, most tragically our innocent children, bears the heavy burden of malnourishment. The relentless spectres of Malnutrition and Anaemia have cast a long shadow upon our nation’s aspirations and progress, obstructing the path to a brighter future.

Dhyey – The Goal
The eradication of Malnutrition and Anaemia demands more than just good intentions; it requires the empowerment of individuals with the right knowledge. We passionately conceive innovative strategies to disseminate awareness among our specific target groups, encompassing the most vulnerable members of our society—children aged 0-5, adolescent girls, and women in their reproductive years.
With unwavering commitment and tireless efforts spanning across the nation, we are sowing the seeds of enlightenment within families. Our mission is to guide and support these families, enabling them to nurture the healthy growth of their children. We firmly believe that by arming individuals with knowledge, we are igniting the beacon of hope for a future free from the shadows of Malnutrition and Anaemia.

Message from our Leaders
Dr. Priti Adani
Chairperson, Adani Foundation

The right nutrition during the first 1000 days in a child’s life, the pre-natal and post-natal periods, have great impact on a child’s ability to grow, learn and succeed. This crucial phase shapes the emotional and cognitive well-being as the child becomes an adult.
While dreaming for a healthy growing nation no attempt is too small and no effort is too big.
Angshu Mallick, CEO & MD
Adani Wilmar Limited

For any country to be ‘Healthy’, the primary objective which needs to be looked into is Nutrition which people get through various foods available in the country. India is a nation with bountiful harvest yet a lot of scope to spread awareness about malnutrition and anemia. I am glad that through the SuPoshan Project we are addressing these issues by reaching far off locations in the country. Fortune SuPoshan Project aims in touching the life of every Indian and enabling them to live life fully, thereby making India stronger, healthier and more productive.
